Dr. Thirupathi Ravula received his Ph.D. in nanoscience from the Indian Institute of Science. After his postdoctoral training at the University of Michigan, he joined as an associate scientist in NMRFAM at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research focuses on the molecular materials involved in the self-assembly of lipids and polymers, membrane memetics, polymer-lipid nanodiscs, magnetic alignment. Major research contributions include the development of various types of polymer-based nanodiscs for the structural studies of membrane proteins using NMR.
