Dear NMRFAM community,
We are writing to let you know that Chad Rienstra has resigned from his faculty position at UW-Madison and shared directorship of NMRFAM. We know that you all share our gratitude for all that Chad has brought to NMRFAM the past 6.5 years. As many of you know, Chad founded Resynant last year and we wish him great success in his future endeavors.
The NMRFAM user program will continue without interruption under our leadership, including both solution and solid-state NMR operations. Our solid-state NMR staff, Alex Paterson, Songlin Wang, and Thiru Ravula remain ready to assist with any current or new materials or biological solid-state NMR projects. All new requests or follow up inquiries should be directed to nmrfam-head@biochem.wisc.edu.
We look forward to recruiting a new solid-state NMR faculty director for NMRFAM in the near future.
