Eldon is the former Director of the Biological Magnetic Resonance Data Bank (BMRB) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. As an Emeritus Senior Scientist and consultant, he continues to be active in the development of the BMRB and more recently in the NMRbox project at the University of Connecticut Health Center. His research has involved NMR studies of proteins, nucleic acids, and small molecules. For the past 25 years, his work has focused on the organization, annotation, validation, and distribution of NMR spectroscopic data from studies of biological macromolecule and small molecule systems deposited by the NMR community at BMRB.
